We're looking for energetic, confident, and reliable
actors and scare performers
to bring the haunt to life. If you love performing, improvising, or making people scream (in a fun, safe way), this is your dream gig.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing as a
live scare actor
inside the haunted house across different themed rooms.
Adapting your performance to match the energy of each group — from jump scares to eerie character acting.
Staying in character throughout each session to create a fully immersive experience.
Working closely with the operations team to ensure safety, timing, and flow between groups.
Helping reset or prep rooms between groups as needed.
Who We're Looking For
You don't need a theatre degree — just confidence, commitment, and a love for entertainment.
We'd love to hear from you if you are:
Outgoing, expressive, and comfortable performing for small groups.
Reliable and punctual (professionalism is key — our audience depends on it).
Physically capable of performing in dark, confined spaces or around loud sounds/fog effects.
Able to work evenings, weekends, and special events (especially around Halloween).
Team-oriented, positive, and fun to be around — even when covered in fake blood.
Acting or haunted attraction experience
is great but not essential — we provide full training.

Pay & Conditions
Casual rate:
in line with the Amusement, Events & Recreation Award, depending on age and experience.
Shifts generally run between
4:00pm – 10:00pm
, with extended hours during events.
Some daytime shifts may be available for training or private group bookings.
