As we expand, we're seeking a General Manager to help shape our next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to facilitate general management, own operations, and directly influence the growth of a dynamic business.
You will be both:
An Operator – ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of projects, staff, and systems.
A Growth Enabler – partnering with the Director to free up his time for sales, networking, and strategic growth.
This role offers a clear pathway for progression as the business scales.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading and managing office and site staff on a daily basis.
Running weekly team meetings and 1:1s with leads.
Overseeing project planning, resourcing, and operational delivery.
Monitoring tenders, proposals, and the pipeline of work.
Leading recruitment campaigns, onboarding, and probation reviews.
Performance management and maintaining accountability for deadlines and quality control.
Driving compliance with systems and software technologies.
Collaborating with our Systems/HR Consultant on policies and processes.
Monitoring budgets, timesheets, and reports with the Finance Controller.
Preparing weekly and quarterly operational reporting for the Director.
Providing strategic input into leadership meetings and business reviews.
About You
5–8 years' operational leadership experience, ideally in construction, or a related industry.
Proven people management skills and ability to lead teams confidently.
Strong organisational and systems orientation (comfortable with digital platforms).
Hands-on, adaptable, and pragmatic in an SME environment.
Ambitious, seeking to grow both the business and your own leadership trajectory.
Excellent communicator who can work effectively with both site and office teams.
