Workplace Law Advocate
Sought after candidates will assist in delivering high-quality legal services and advice on workplace law matters to clients.
* This role entails providing professional, timely, and effective legal service to achieve the best outcome for clients.
* A broad range of workplace law issues, including compliance, termination, discrimination, investigations, and disciplinary matters.
* Representing medical practitioners (public and private sectors) and medical practices in courts, tribunals, and inquiries and instructing counsel in complex cases.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Relevant tertiary legal qualifications.
* Eligible to hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
* Demonstrated post-admission experience (ideally over 2 years) in respondent and/or applicant employment law.
* The ability to express ideas effectively with proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of prioritisation, time management, and self-management skills.
* Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment.
