About the Heavy Diesel Mechanic role
* Requires: demonstrated heavy diesel mechanic qualifications, experience servicing trucks, buses, 4WDs, trailers, and diesel equipment in the automotive or transport sectors.
* Salary guide: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour inclusive of leave loading.
* Location: Northern suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland.
What will the Heavy Diesel Mechanic do each day
* Perform comprehensive servicing, diagnostics and maintenance on trucks, buses, 4WDs, trailers, caravans, limos, and classic vehicles.
* Independently analyze and resolve mechanical and electronic faults using advanced diagnostic tools.
* Handle scheduled truck and bus fleet maintenance ensuring peak operational safety and compliance.
* Provide expert problem-solving on diverse vehicle types including hot rods and classic cars.
* Maintain accurate job documentation and uphold workshop safety and quality standards.
