**Accountabilities**:
- Develop and evolve the Department of Health's brand strategy to more effectively engage the Victorian community and our key stakeholders. 
- Implement appropriate advertising and governance processes for all departmental and satellite agency campaigns. 
- Lead the development of, implement and evaluate cost-effective, audience and insights-led campaigns, managing agency partners to deliver against campaign objectives. 
- Manage budgeting and costs for campaigns, advertising and brand initiatives. 
- Lead and manage specialists to ensure delivery of cutting-edge, professional, high-quality brand, and design services by: Provide authoritative, strategic and expert advice to executives, business units and other key internal and external clients on the development, delivery and evaluation of creative elements for key projects; corporate style, publications and marketing, to ensure compelling, visually appealing, effective communications that comply with whole-of-Victorian Government communications guidelines and branding requirements.

- Develop and maintain partnerships and professional relationships with senior executives, stakeholders and business units to ensure delivery of high-quality services. 
- Manage a broad range of stakeholder requests across a complex organisation and negotiate, influence and resolve competing views to achieve strategic aims in line with departmental priorities. 
- Proactively coordinate and collaborate with teams across the Communications and Engagement Branch as appropriate. 
- Take a leadership role in developing processes for planning and managing communication projects in partnership with the broader Marketing group, ensuring expertise is leveraged from the Technology and Insights teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, effectively and to the required standards. 
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements. 
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures. 
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
