Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet performance targets.
* Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth, protecting and expanding existing business while establishing new relationships.
* Maintain and develop strong customer ties through regular account visits, covering the full scope of responsibility.
* Manage opportunity pipelines through active and ongoing funnel management.
* Design and implement digital marketing initiatives to generate leads – actively follow up and track generated leads.
* Oversee territory activities, reporting insights and learnings to the wider team.
* Advise on product portfolio and pricing strategy in line with agreed objectives.
* Collaborate with Field Service Engineers to deliver exceptional service, enhancing opportunities for new and additional business growth.
* Utilize customer and prospect interaction tools and systems, updating relevant information held within these platforms.
* Develop and support local marketing efforts to agreed budgets and timelines, integrating personal sales efforts with organized marketing activities, such as product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing.
* Communicate, negotiate, and liaise internally and externally to foster profitable business development and balanced relationships.
* Represent the company at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other functions necessary to perform duties and drive business growth.
* Provide nationwide and cross-territory business support as required (Approx. 15%).
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years relevant sales experience, with a preference for medical device industry exposure.
* Proven track record in selling capital goods and consumables.
* Experience interacting with stakeholders in sterilization, hospital hygiene, or operating room fields.
* Strong analytical, commercial, and digital literacy, including proficiency in Excel, Sharepoint, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Salesforce.com.
* Understanding of medical devices is beneficial but not essential.
* Experience with FBS/Lean operation principles of continuous improvement is preferred.
* Fluent English language skills are required.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at multiple organizational levels.
* Flexibility to travel as needed.
