Job Description

The Services Sales Manager leads a high‐performing services sales organisation focused on driving Installed Base renewals, growing new operational services business, and delivering outstanding customer outcomes and long‐term partner success. The role sets clear direction aligned to company strategy, inspires teams to exceed growth and profitability targets, and ensures services‐led solutions deliver sustainable, recurring value across the customer lifecycle.

A core responsibility of the role is maximising lifecycle value within the installed customer base. This includes driving retention and expansion through renewals, identifying and converting new operational service opportunities, and deepening customer engagement through outcome‐focused service offerings.

Customer intimacy is central to success in this role. The Services Sales Manager builds trusted, executive‐level relationships with enterprise customers and partners, develops a deep understanding of customer business priorities, and positions services as enablers of measurable business outcomes. By leading complex, multi‐stakeholder engagements, the role ensures an exceptional end‐to‐end customer experience while turning challenges and escalations into growth opportunities.

The role is highly partner‐oriented, working collaboratively across internal teams, channels, vendors, and strategic partners to deliver integrated, lifecycle‐based service solutions. The Services Sales Manager aligns cross‐functional resources, removes obstacles, and enables partners to jointly succeed in delivering long‐term customer value.

As a people leader, the Services Sales Manager builds and sustains a strong services sales culture by recruiting, mentoring, and developing high‐performing talent. Coaching is central—enabling teams to lead with insight, craft compelling value propositions, align technical and commercial strategies, and execute consultative, outcome‐based selling.

The Services Sales Manager runs the business with rigor and discipline, establishing effective sales methodologies, driving consistent execution, and ensuring strong pipeline management and forecasting accuracy. Customer feedback and deal insights are used to continuously improve service offerings and go‐to‐market strategies.

In summary, this role balances strategic leadership with hands‐on customer and partner engagement, ensuring services sales success through operational excellence, trusted relationships, and sustained customer value.

Education and Experience

* University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
* 8-10+ years' experience in sales, including success in achieving progressively higher quota and other sales goals.
* 6+ years of Team Leadership – leading, coaching and mentoring a high‐performing team
* Large and complex deal management experience is a must
* Experience mentoring other sales professionals and other employees.
* Demonstrated project management skills.
