Our Financial Markets & Treasury Program
Our Financial Markets business is a leading provider of financial solutions across foreign exchange, interest rates, credit and commodities markets. Our Treasury team provides market-leading funding, liquidity and risk management of Westpac's balance sheet, enabling all Westpac businesses to service their customers.
We have relationships with a diverse customer base covering the complete spectrum from Australian retail consumers to large corporates, funds, supranational institutions and central banks across the world. At the same time, you will have access to a complete source of economic and financial markets commentary and thought leadership on trends shaping industry, innovation, community and sustainability.
This is a 12-month program with 4 x 3-month rotations.
You will gain hands-on experience across your rotations, where you are an integral part of a team to help deliver solutions for our customers. A graduate typically completes a variety of rotations which could include: Interest Rate Sales, Treasury, Economics, Strategy, Debt Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange Sales, Trading or Analytics.

Eligibility
You must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen
OR
an Australian Permanent Resident,
AND
be in your final year of study for a university degree
OR
completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.
You'll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February ****.
