Position profile
This is a Fixed Term 0.8FTE appointment starting the 16th of February **** for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency on a Full Time or Part Time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Adolescent Health Service as a Learning and Development Consultant, where you will empower the workforce that cares for WA's children and young people.
In this dynamic role you will collaborate with subject matter experts and other learning and development specialists to champion the growth of our staff by designing, facilitating and coordinating engaging programs.
You will achieve this by blending classroom interactions with innovative online training packages to enhance the learner's experience.
A key aspect of this role also involves being a trusted resource for staff, providing guidance and clarity on all facets of their learning journey.
Your contributions will ultimately assist to equip our clinical and non-clinical teams with the contemporary skills needed to deliver excellence in patient care.

About Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS)
CAHS is Western Australia's primary provider of paediatric healthcare, exclusively dedicated to infants, children, and young people.
It comprises Perth Children's Hospital, Neonatology, Community Health, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
Eligibility to Apply

Requirements
A statement addressing the following selection criteria only in no more than 2-3 pages.
Essential Criteria 1: Extensive experience in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programs (digital and classroom based) within a multidisciplinary environment or position of a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
Essential Criteria 2: Sound knowledge of contemporary learning and development strategies and practices that support adult based learning principles.
Essential Criteria 5: Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to identify problems and implement learning solutions.
Essential Criteria 6: Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with contemporary training/presentation software programs.
A covering letter outlining your suitability for this position.
A current resume summarising your experience and includes both phone and email contact details of two professional referees, with at least one being a recent supervisor/line manager.
