About the role:
The position is based at HOBART's head office located in Silverwater, NSW. Together with the Senior Project Manager, the role will lead and manage large machine projects from start to finish (from quoting phase until the installation of the respective machine(s)). The role will be responsible for sales orders processing and preparing sales quotations, project presentations and drawings, as well as keeping the technical library up-to-date. The role will liaise with a portfolio of customers including internal stakeholders, dealers, consultants and end-customers. In addition, the role will provide backup support for sales administration as required.
The role will bring technical, analytical, project management skills, a positive attitude with a strong accuracy and attention to detail in completing technical requirements. Key Responsibilities:
* Work in conjunction with relevant State Managers and Sales Representatives assisting with their large machine technical needs including technical specifications
* Developing the value propositions by studying related customer needs
* Preparing sales/cost quotations, drawings/layout planning and ROI calculations by using the value propositions created
* Preparing tender documents together with the Senior Project Manager
* Managing projects from quoting phase to final installation phase while liaising with all stakeholders internal & external
* Coordination of technicians and sub-contractors for installation and removals
* Organize training for stakeholders after installation
* Liaising with factory regarding product specifications
* Support Sales team with site visits to measure, identify requirements and pain points when necessary
* Provide technical support to consultants
* Understand technologies to deliver best product solution
* Back-up for sales administration
Skills & Experience:
* 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Degree or significant experience in a technical field
* Experience using AutoCAD is a must
* Revit Modelling is a plus
* Advanced technical understanding
* Knowledge of working kitchens and dishwasher areas beneficial
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Focused with a strong growth mindset
