You'll inspire and coordinate staff and volunteers, elevate the quality of therapeutic activities, and champion a truly person-centred approach guided by the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor and support lifestyle therapy staff to deliver meaningful activities.Assess resident needs and develop person-centred lifestyle care plans.Design, deliver and evaluate individual, small-group and large-group activity programs.Coordinate resources, schedules and volunteer involvement to support daily operations.Support residents to participate, build connections and enhance their wellbeing.Review and update lifestyle plans to ensure they continue to meet resident needs.About youOur ideal candidate has:Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.Light Rigid Bus Licence (Class LR) is highly regarded.Knowledge and application of person-centred preference-driven philosophies.Three years' experience in the development and delivery of contemporary leisure and recreational programs within Aged Care is highly regarded.Demonstrated experience in the management of leisure and recreational staff.Importantly, you will be someone who closely aligns with our organisational values of: Integrity, Compassion, Excellence Courage.About UsWe are one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations, with a legacy of care and compassion spanning over 140 years.
