As a Supervising Social Worker, you will: Supervise a case load of foster carers, providing essential support and supervision to our approved foster carers.
Manage the Duty system in collaboration with the Placements Team, ensuring children are placed with suitable foster carers.
Undertake assessments to understand the needs of children and their families.
Visit children and their families regularly to offer support and guidance.
Carry out interventions to address specific issues that arise.
Review the work you've done to ensure its effectiveness and make improvements as needed.
Engage in direct work with children and families to foster strong, supportive relationships.
Perform any other tasks identified as necessary to support the well being of children.
Requirements of the Social Worker: A degree or equivalent in social work.
Current Social Work England registration.
Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK working as a qualified Social Worker.
