We are looking for a Portfolio Delivery Manager.

About the opportunity
- The role leads our technology project portfolio for the Retail, Brand, and Marketing area.
- This portfolio includes enhancing our digital web experience for Australia Post and Startrack for both consumers and business customers.
- The projects also involve retail technology platforms such as point of sale (POS).
What you'll deliver with us
Commercial & Strategic Priorities
- Establish and manage the project and program portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and with expected quality, adding value and benefits to the business.
- Manage programs to realize business benefits, informed by current technical developments.
- Review progress of each project within the portfolio, managing changes, dependencies, milestones, risks, issues, and priorities.
- Assess project viability to meet business benefits.
- Manage conflicts and dependencies between projects.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities proactively.
- Contribute to demand management to balance demand against capability.
- Ensure effective resource management and business change management (training, communications, processes, organization design).
- Act as an escalation point, ensuring collaboration for successful outcomes and risk mitigation.
Essential Experience Industry and Function
- Strong experience in project delivery strategies, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience in retail and/or transport & logistics industry.
- Proven management of multiple projects from conception to realization of objectives.
Relationships
- Experience leading multidisciplinary program teams (business, IT, vendors).
- Experience working with senior management and engaging with C-level and GM stakeholders.
Critical Knowledge Market and Environment
Extensive knowledge of market drivers, industry players, and developments relevant to Australia Post's operating environment.
