Logistics & Materials Coordinator | FIFO WA

Genus is seeking an experienced Logistics & Materials Coordinator to manage the movement, tracking, and control of materials to support efficient project delivery. This is a critical role ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed to keep works progressing safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate the delivery, receipting, storage, and distribution of materials on site
* Maintain accurate material tracking systems and inventory records
* Work closely with Procurement, Warehouse, and Site Teams to ensure material availability
* Monitor and manage stock levels, identifying shortages or delays
* Coordinate freight and logistics movements to and from site
* Ensure compliance with site procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements
* Support shutdown planning and material readiness
* Prepare reports on material status, delays, and forecasts
About You
* Proven experience in logistics, materials coordination, or supply chain roles
* Experience working on mining, construction, or major infrastructure projects
* Strong organisational and planning skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and materials management systems
Desirable
* Experience in brownfields or live operational environments
* Exposure to ERP systems (SAP or similar)
* Forklift Licence (LF) or relevant high-risk tickets
* FMG Inducted
* Ability to commence within (2) weeks
Requirements
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Full Australian working rights
* Ability to work a 10/6 FIFO roster from Perth
* Flexibility to work in Burswood, WA initially prior to mobilising to site
