About the role
We are seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join our team at the cavallaros As a full-time Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious pastries, desserts, and baked goods that delight our customers. The role involves working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts using high-quality ingredients
* Develop new and innovative pastry recipes to expand our menu offerings
* Ensure consistent presentation and quality of all baked goods
* Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
* Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the pastry team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-quality restaurant or bakery environment
* Formal training or qualification in Baking, Patisserie, or Culinary Arts
* Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavour combinations
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistently high-quality baked goods
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Passion for creating innovative and visually appealing desserts and pastries
