ABOUT THE ROLE
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Have a passion for cars, trucks, and machinery? Join our Operations Team at Acacia Ridge, QLD 4811! Full-time, Mon–Fri (8:00am–4:30pm). We need a reliable, customer-focused quick learner. Hands-on role, permanent position, on the go, not behind a desk.
What you will do:
* Asset handling– locate, move, track, load/unload trucks, via forklift, assets include but not limited to machinery, caravans, and other industrial assets.
* Maintain forklift – perform daily checks, weekly maintenance, and complete logbooks.
* Catalogue assets – record details, note damage, photograph, and upload within set timeframes.
* Gatehouse Operations - Coordinate and track vehicle arrivals, departures, and deliveries.
* Deliver great service – accurate stock handling and smooth buyer handover.
* Team support – help out where needed.
* Collaborate across departments – keep branch operations running seamlessly.
* Follow WHS procedures – keep safety top priority.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:
* Current, valid manual driver’s licence (essential)
* Current, valid forklift licence (essential) - HR licence desirable but not essential
* Knowledge of industrial assets including trucks, machinery & earthmoving advantageous although not essential. I think if we put essential
* Ability to use an iPad with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* A strong commitment to safety
* Excellent customer service skills with good verbal and written communication skills
* Able to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
* Ability to work as part of a team
