Visit www.nyrstar.comOverview Of The RoleNyrstar is a leading Multi-Metals processing company based in Port Pirie, South Australia, committed to sustainable and responsible operations in the mining and metal production industry.We are seeking a highly collaborative and engaging Training Coordinator to join our team for 12-14 months. This role is the perfect balance of face to face facilitation, coordinating training programs and collaborating with internal leaders, employees and external providers to achieve training outcomes for our 800+ strong workforce. Reporting to the Senior Training Coordinator, you will work closely with the Training, Organisational Development and HR team in a supportive work environment.This is a residential full-time role based in Port Pirie, South Australia, however we are open to offering part time (0.8) for the right candidate.Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Facilitate and coordinate seamless face-to-face onboarding, safety training and other training programs, creating a positive and meaningful learning experienceOversee and coordinate trades training and reclassification process, with focus on employee growth and developmentCollaborate and communicate effectively with leaders and external training providers to achieve training goals and objectivesSupport leaders to achieve training compliance and coordinate training development opportunitiesExecute timely and accurate training data entry and reportingManage relevant training administrative and budgeting tasks as requiredQualifications, Skills & Experiences:Experience within the mining or heavy industry environment, experience in a similar role and / or Training & Assessor qualifications is highly advantageous.Ability to confidently engage with others and facilitate face to face training that leaves a positive impactPlanned and organised approach to workHigh level of proficiency in IT Systems and Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPointWhat does working for Nyrstar mean?We offer a career of challenge, reward and growth in a company that is focused on being a leader in our field.
