As a key member of our School Library Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, cataloguing and maintaining our extensive library collection, and creating a welcoming library environment that offers a range of initiatives throughout the year.
The role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual who can deliver results-oriented library services while working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
* Providing front desk support and customer service

* Managing multiple tasks and competing priorities with high attention to detail

1. Front Desk Support: Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and community members
2. Cataloguing and Collection Management: Maintain an up-to-date and accurate library catalogue and manage the physical collection
3. Library Environment: Create a welcoming and inclusive library environment that promotes literacy, learning, and engagement
Required skills and qualifications include:
* A strong understanding and demonstrated experience in contemporary library practices
* Well-developed interpersonal skills and strong customer service
* Competence with the Oliver library system or ability to quickly acquire skills
* Strong administrative skills with high level of competence in MS Suite
