THE PROSPECT
We are currently looking for a Law Clerk to join our team in Melbourne on a part-time (3 days a week) basis. This role would be ideal for someone with at least 2 years remaining on their degree.
The Law Clerk will carry out activities such as preparing briefs, carrying out research tasks and assisting with drafting all types of documents and letters once would expect to see in a litigated matter. You will be part of a friendly team, learning from senior practitioners who are industry recognised experts in their fields who will coach and guide you and provide you with invaluable opportunities whilst you are completing your degree.
William Roberts takes pride in mentoring and fostering our Law Clerks, this role may provide the opportunity to transition to a Graduate Lawyer (where available) and the potential to advance into a Lawyer position.
THE CANDIDATE
· A law student with at least 2 years remaining on your degree (ideal)
· A strong commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
· Passionate and interested in gaining solid experience in commercial litigation
· Driven and enjoys challenging personal boundaries to achieve quality results
· Follow instructions and procedures
· Attention to detail
· Organised and possess the ability to multitask

· Takes pride in their work, notwithstanding they are studying at the same time as working
