The Experience Design team drives the customer experience across Bankwest's mobile app, online banking, website, Broker tools and beyond. As part of this team, our Experience Designers collaborate across various business areas to deliver validated, user-centered solutions. Through empathy, research, and design expertise, we continually refine and improve our digital experiences to bring Bankwest's vision to life.
Do work that matters
As a Junior Experience Designer, you'll play a key role in understanding real customer needs and crafting tested solutions. This includes:
- Using Design Thinking to balance customer needs with business objectives.
- Ideating, prototyping, testing, and iterating design solutions that are both innovative and user-friendly.
You'll be supported by a talented and high-performing team passionate about delivering on Bankwest's aspiration — to be Australia's favourite digital bank.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong conceptual design and prototyping skills.
- A solid understanding of customer-centered design principles and usability testing methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across disciplines and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience designing for mobile apps and/or web.
- Hands-on experience with user testing, research, and working with development teams.
