Position Overview
The company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Coordinator to join their team. They will play a crucial role in increasing sales and contributing to the organisation's growth by strengthening relationships with existing clients and identifying prospective new business opportunities across various areas.
Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain existing accounts while achieving monthly sales objectives and monitoring profit margins.
* Conduct regular phone calls and follow‐ups with customers to provide product feedback, industry news, and order updates.
* Assist customers in building their business by suggesting new revenue sources and identifying solutions tailored to their specific needs.
* Proactively research, identify, and cold‐call prospective new clients to create and open new business accounts.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments, including Purchasing and Customer Service, to manage inventory, ETAs, and customer inquiries.
* Work collaboratively with Business Development Executives (BDEs) to strategise on account growth and maximise visibility through planned visits.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree in a Science or Business‐related field.
* 1‐2 years of proven experience in Sales or Customer Service.
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel, is required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, customer‐focused approach are essential.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, along with a keen ability to apply analytical thinking to problem‐solving.
