Global Investment Services seeks to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise, and investment opportunities for self-directed, high net worth, wholesale clients. Reporting to the Head of South Region, as a Global Investment Services (GIS) Director, you will join a high calibre expert team of Investment Specialists with a focus on supporting and advising HNW clients on their investment selection. As a Director, you will partner and collaborate with our private banking team, as well as stakeholders across other business units, driving a collaborative approach to acquire new clients across Westpac Group by presenting your technical expertise and generating a positive client experience. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute client and prospect engagement plans to generate, close, and replenish client opportunity pipelines Investment presentations to small and large groups of clients and stakeholders Drive strategic and tactical initiatives to achieve year-on-year growth Lead the engagement of clients at ongoing investment reviews Drive banker capability uplift through education, learning, and development activities What do I need? Bachelor of Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related discipline Strong sales experience and track record of client engagement and management in financial markets/funds management/HNW segment Investment expertise in asset classes across fixed income and/or equities Experience in the HNW client segment either within Private Banking or Private Wealth is desired Knowledge and demonstrated implementation of compliance and risk management Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Exceptional literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail What’s it like to work there?
