Who should volunteer?
Anyone. You don't need experience or any special skill, simply a willingness to join in activities and an interest in having a chat.
What Would I Be Doing?
The most fundamental role of a volunteer is to provide companionship, so a priority is placed upon listening and talking to our residents. As well as this, there is a host of other activities you could be involved in such as arts, gardening, joining the residents for a bus outing, reading, games, and so on. If you have a special skill or good ideas, mention them to the lifestyle team to see if it might be a good addition
How Do I Register?
Simply make an enquiry by clicking the Interested/Apply Now button and we will be in touch with you to explore your suitability and advise on the orientation process. During the interview process, we will advise you on the completion of relevant documentation as well as the orientation process.
A Police Check is mandatory for this role.
Following the conclusion of the legislative requirements, you will be introduced to our Lifestyle team for induction.
