Location: Broken Hill, NSW.
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
What You'll Be Doing
Support and assist dental clinicians in the provision of oral health services to patients.
Undertake administrative and reception duties – filing, maintaining electronic patient database, appointment scheduling, wait list management, stock maintenance and ordering.
Assist in the delivery of oral health promotion activities.

Qualifications and Requirements
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent work experience. Dental Assisting Certificate IV required for appointment at Grade 2.
Certificate III in Sterilisation Services or demonstrated capacity and commitment to work toward achieving this qualification.
Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to relate well to adults, children and other health professionals.
Demonstrated experience in infection control, instrument reprocessing and dental assisting.
Demonstrated ability to plan own work, manage priorities, use initiative and problem solve.
Effective computer skills for communication and use of dental patient administration and management systems (e.g., Titanium). Proficient in Word and Excel.
Class C drivers licence with the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
