The Kathleen Valley Lithium Operation is a Tier-1 battery metals asset with excellent grade and scale in one of world's best mining districts. Production commenced in mid-2024.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our operations team. This position will be based at our world class Kathleen Valley lithium Operation. You will play a vital role in the maintenance team keeping HVAC and aircon systems running at optimal levels across the operation.

This role will be a permanent opportunity working an 8/6 roster, Dayshift only, FIFO from Perth.

Liaise closely with the E&I Supervisor and E&I Superintendent to assist in work planning and scheduling, ensuring the required equipment, tools, and spare parts are available and maintained.

* Provide high level diagnostics and fault finding in both planned maintenance and emergency situations.
* Install, repair, and maintain various refrigeration systems, chilled water systems, large-scale equipment, and air conditioning onsite.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, workspace organisation and waste minimisation.
* Minimise company risk exposure and liabilities by performing maintenance activities to a high standard.
* Demonstrate personal safety commitment and actively support a culture of safety awareness and commitment.
* Assist in the development and continual improvement of maintenance crews.
* Optimise preventive maintenance tasks to ensure efficiency and reliability.

About you

* Trade Qualification - Certificate III in Engineering (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning).
* WA Electrical Licence – Refrigeration.
* Minimum 5 years experience in similar position.
* Prior experience maintaining and troubleshooting chilled water systems.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and manuals.
* Proficient in Microsoft office & SAP.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
* Excellent attitude and strong commitment to safety.
* Willing to step outside of your role to assist the maintenance team.
* Demonstrate initiative and strong work habits.
* Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
* Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
