Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Engineer you will:
* Lead the development, implementation, and management of project plans, budgets, and schedules in line with company and client requirements.
* Prepare estimates, quotes, and supporting documentation for assigned projects.
* Produce technical reports and documentation in accordance with Defence and internal standards.
* Review drawings and designs for compliance with specifications and customer requirements.
* Identify and resolve technical issues in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
* Maintain configuration control of documents, schematics, drawings, and parts lists.
* Procure components and manage cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain accurate project records and engineering data.
* Evaluate design packages and provide technical feedback.
* Analyse engineering risks and support mitigation planning.
* Apply sound engineering judgment to support project decisions.
* Collaborate across design, manufacturing, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Integrate safety and compliance into all engineering activities in line with Defence standards.
About You:
* Degree-qualified in Electrical, Electronic, or Systems Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's).
* 5+ years of experience in engineering project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
* Strong hands-on engineering background with knowledge of systems integration and risk management.
* Familiarity with Defence industry standards, procurement processes, and lifecycle management.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex integration activities and ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex engineering challenges.
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven, with strong attention to detail and quality.
* Flexible and adaptable in dynamic project environments.
* Must hold, or be eligible for, a Security Clearance.
