Command On-Call Firefighter Recruitment Coordinator
- Temporary Full Time (Up to 30 June 2026)
- Clerk Grade 5/6 – Package up to $124,982.86 pa. Package includes salary range ($99,938 pa to $110,271 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
- Metropolitan North Area Command. The role is based in Lambton; however, the role holder is expected to travel and engage with stakeholders throughout the Hunter and Central Coast regions.
About the role:
This position plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for On-Call Firefighters across the Metropolitan North Area Command.
Each day presents new challenges and opportunities. As the Recruitment Coordinator, responsibilities may include overseeing workforce planning, reporting and data analysis from the office, liaising with Firefighters and Recruitment Project Officers within Zones, or enhancing candidate engagement strategies through stakeholder collaboration within the community.
About you:
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Demonstrated understanding of the challenges of vacancy management
- Proficiency in coordinating recruitment activities and managing the candidate pipeline
- Proven experience in stakeholder management
- High level experience in administration and reporting, including ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and procedures
Essential Requirements
Valid driver’s licence and capacity to travel within NSW if required.
