We are seeking an Asset Project Coordinator to join our Operations team at Healesville Sanctuary. Fixed term project role (4 months), this role plays a key part in improving the accuracy of data in our Asset Management System (AMS) and supporting asset renewal and replacement planning. You will assist with inspections, maintain asset condition reports, support budget forecasting and ensure accurate data entry to inform operational decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Support implementation and management of the Asset Management System (AMS)
* Assist in planning and coordinating asset renewal and replacement activities
* Maintain up to date asset condition reports and life cycle assessments
* Assist in preparing Asset Management plans and Building Maintenance plans
* Conduct quarterly risk and financial assessments
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure quality outcomes
* Promote and maintain a safe working environment
The ideal candidate will have:
* A Certificate in Asset Management, Project Management, or a relevant trade qualification (e.g., Building and Construction) or equivalent experience
* Proven experience in asset management and preventative maintenance planning
* Familiarity with HardCat or similar asset management software
* Strong planning skills to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
* Knowledge of workplace safety principles and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build productive relationships
* Problem solving ability and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and email platforms
* A current driver's licence and Working with Children Check
