About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional in Chemistry to join our research team.
This position involves synthesising, purifying and characterising metallosupramolecular cages, catenanes and rotaxanes, and using ion mobility mass spectrometry to probe structure and reactivity.
* Completion or near completion of a doctoral qualification in supramolecular chemistry, organic chemistry or coordination chemistry is essential.
* Demonstrated expertise in synthesis and purification of organic molecules related to supramolecular chemistry and advanced molecular characterisation is required.
* The ideal candidate will have proven success establishing and developing partnerships.
* Potential or demonstrated ability to produce, publish and communicate high quality research effectively is highly desirable.
* Candidates should be capable of supervising higher degree students successfully.
* Evidence of resourcefulness, initiative and ability to meet tight deadlines is crucial.
