* Oversee system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance to optimise performance.
* Collaborate with internal teams to support technology needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Monitor and improve system security, implementing best practices to protect data and resources.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimise downtime.
* Lead vendor relationships to ensure effective delivery of services and solutions.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes and systems.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within the technology department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Infrastructure Engineer should have:
* A strong background in managing and maintaining IT infrastructure in a professional setting.
* Proficiency in system administration, network management, and cybersecurity practices.
* Expertise with Aruba
* Expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls
* Expertise with M365 tools including Intune, Azure Active Directory among others
* Experience in overseeing technology projects and ensuring timely delivery.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest technology trends.
