We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer to help us bring these special deliveries to life! This role is fast-paced, physical, and hands-on, requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
About the Role:
As a Warehouse Assistant/Pick Packer, you will be responsible for:
* Packing and preparing book subscription boxes with accuracy and care.
* Handling fragile items and special edition books securely.
* Assisting in stock management, including receiving and organising book and goodie deliveries.
* Printing shipping labels, sorting orders, and coordinating with couriers to ensure timely dispatch.
* Ensuring all orders meet shipping deadlines and are packed to a high standard.
* Lifting and moving boxes (up to 20kg safely, following proper handling techniques).
* Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organised.
* Using basic computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Airtable, Slack) for order processing and communication.
* Assisting in processing returns, exchanges, and resolving order discrepancies.
* Monitoring warehouse supplies (boxes, tape, labels) and restocking when needed.
* Following all Work Health & Safety (WHS) policies, including proper manual handling, hazard reporting, and adherence to warehouse safety guidelines.
* Occasionally appearing in social media content (e.g., packing videos, warehouse updates).
* Providing feedback on ways to improve daily operations and efficiency.
* Being comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks like packing and sorting.
* Being flexible and available during peak periods (e.g., Christmas, major sales) when extra shifts may be required.

What We’re Looking For:
* 6+ months of warehouse experience.
* Full Australian working rights (citizenship, PR, or valid work visa).
* Ability to lift and carry boxes (up to 20kg) safely.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Good communication skills and teamwork.
* Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Airtable).
* A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a growing business.
* Passion for books and the book industry is a plus!
* Must be comfortable appearing in social media content (e.g., packing ASMR, warehouse updates).

* Salary is based on industry award rates + superannuation.
