About the role
As a Customer Service/Paint Sales Representative at Normist Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and expert paint sales advice to a diverse range of clients. This full-time role is based in our Warwick, QLD 4370 location and will see you play a key part in achieving the company's sales objectives.
What you'll be doing
* Provide outstanding customer service and support to both walk-in and telephone clients
* Assist customers in selecting the right paint products and accessories to meet their needs
* Demonstrate and explain the features and benefits of our paint products
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
* Maintain an organised and well-stocked showroom
* Liaise with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
* Participate in staff training to continuously develop your product knowledge
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years' experience in paint sales & customer service, with demonstrated experience in paint mixing and colour matching being essential
* Knowledge of paint types, application methods, and related hardware products (brushes, rollers, primers, etc.)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base
* Strong product knowledge and the ability to provide expert advice and recommendations
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets
* Positive, friendly and energetic personality with a can-do attitude
* Excellent numeracy and cash handling skills
* Flexibility to work weekends as required
* Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods
* Eligible to work in Australia full time (Australian citizenship, permanent residency)
* Have a current drivers license
