BERA is a specialist Energy Efficiency consultancy working with architects, designers and builders to identify Energy Efficiency solutions that work for their projects. We're looking for a switched‐on professional to join our team as an Energy Efficiency Assessor.
Whether you're an experienced NatHERS Assessor or you're returning to the workforce from another technical field, this role offers the chance to develop your technical and professional skills and make a real impact on how homes are designed and built in Australia.

The role
* Completing detailed thermal modelling and Energy Efficiency assessments for residential housing projects
* Reading and interpreting architectural plans
* Developing practical, compliant solutions and clear advice for clients
* Preparing accurate reports and maintaining documentation, operating within the regulatory framework of the National Construction Code
* Working closely with designers, builders and internal team members
We have well‐established systems and documented work processes, and you'll be supported as you learn them. Full training and ongoing support are provided.

The successful applicant will
* Love working with clients and seeing great outcomes for their projects
* Have strong attention to detail and like getting things right
* Be at home with technical detail, and enjoy the challenge of technical problem-solving
* Be organised, reliable and able to manage your workload
* Enjoy being part of a collaborative team of 10.
* Degree qualification in Science, Building Design or a similar field is highly regarded
* Experience and/or qualifications in NatHERS and HERO Software is ideal but not essential
