Role summary
We're looking for a talented UI Artist to join our growing team on an exciting new mobile-first game currently in development. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and artists to craft intuitive, beautiful, and high-performing user interfaces for mobile games built in the latest version of Unreal Engine.

This is a 12 month contract position.
Role Responsibilities
* Design and create high-quality UI assets for mobile games
* (HUD, menus, icons, buttons, overlays, etc.)
* Translate UX wireframes and game design requirements into polished, production-ready visuals
* Implement and iterate on UI in Unreal Engine (UMG)
* Work closely with UX designers, game designers, and engineers to ensure usability and visual clarity
* Optimize UI assets for mobile performance and responsiveness
* Maintain visual consistency and contribute to UI style guides
* Iterate quickly based on internal and external user feedback and playtesting results
Qualifications
* 1 - 2 years of experience in UI art for games
* Strong graphic design fundamentals (layout, hierarchy, typography, colour theory)
* Experience implementing UI in Unreal Engine (UMG) / (UEFN) or similar engines
* Strong attention to detail and a user-focused mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary team
* Solid file organization and production workflow habits
* Experience working on live games or shipped titles (mobile experience highly regarded)
* Knowledge of UX principles and player psychology
* Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar tools
* Basic understanding of Blueprints, View Models and Unreal Engine
* Experience or interest in racing genre
