Human Resources Manager Job Summary
Hotel X, a luxurious hotel located in the heart of Brisbane's fashion, nightlife, and restaurant scene, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences, and a strong understanding of human resources principles.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives
* Manage employee relations, recruitment, training, and performance management
* Conduct annual team member satisfaction surveys and analyze results to inform HR initiatives
* Partner with hotel leaders to drive engagement, retention, and employee development
* Administer employee records, ensure compliance with relevant laws and policies, and champion WHS and responsible business practices
* Collaborate with local schools and universities to deliver the Hotel's Means for Good program
Requirements
* Qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a HR Advisor or Business Partner in a fast-paced hospitality environment
* Familiarity with HIGA and the Fair Work Act
* Experience using Dayforce and UKG systems (an advantage)
* Fluent English language skills
