Security Guard Officer/ Loss prevention Officer

We are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Security Officers / Loss Prevention Officers for a major retail store in Cairns, QLD 4870 .
Requirements
* Valid QLD Security Officer Licence
* First Aid Certificate
* Must be locally based in Cairns or nearby
* Full working rights and availability Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekend work
* Reliable transport (car preferred)
Key Responsibilities
* Protect store staff and stock, minimising shrinkage at all times
* Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift
* Present a valid security licence when requested
* Liaise and coordinate with store management regarding any special tasks
* Complete incident reports accurately and promptly
* Greet customers and staff, maintain eye contact, hand out catalogues/baskets
* Conduct polite bag checks as required
* Monitor and respond to suspicious behaviour and visual theft
What We Offer
* Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
* Pay Rate: $29.79 – $41.87 per hour
* Expected Hours: Up to 30 hours per week (potentially up to 40 hours based on performance)

Qualifications (Preferred)
* Minimum 1 year experience in security or protective services
* First Aid Certificate
* QLD Security Licence

Must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to starting.
