About the Client
Our client is a trusted leader in the health and member services sector, known for delivering exceptional support during key operational periods. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Membership Consultant to assist during the upcoming rate review period.
About the Role
As a Membership Consultant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient member services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing membership applications, cancellations, cover changes, and related items in a high-volume environment.
- Adhering to service level agreements, compliance requirements, and upholding the company’s customer promise.
- Providing call centre support by responding to member enquiries and escalating complex cases as needed.
- Collaborating with internal teams including Membership Team Leaders, Health Funds, and Contact Centre staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintaining compliance with operational processes and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
This is a 6-month contract role starting 1 October 2025.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience in Private Health Insurance (PHI), including membership or claims processing
- Background in customer service and administrative support
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
- Robust time management and ability to prioritise tasks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with internal systems or similar operational platforms
