The role of the Senior Administration Officer is to provide high quality financial, human resource and administrative support to North Queensland Placement Services.
The role has a strong focus on provision of administrative and financial functions of Individualised Placement and Support (IPS) for North Queensland Region. This includes coordination of meetings and monitoring of approvals and expenditure.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
The key responsibilities are:
* Manage and supervise an administrative team and provide assistance, support and mentoring to administrative staff.
* Develop, implement and maintain effective administrative systems, including systems relating to the management of human resource, finance, asset, performance reporting and business processes.
* Provide timely, high quality advice and support to the Business Officer.
* Manage the business processes relating to the human, financial and physical resources, including preparation of budget forecasts and expenditure including Individualised Placement and Support (IPS), reconciliations and management of accommodation and assets.
* Liaise with clients, Departmental officers and other government and non-government organisations as necessary.
* Enhance the local regional community by actively practicing and promoting excellence in service delivery and public administration and identifying opportunities for improving regional client service.
