Rapidly growing nutraceutical and sports supplement manufacturer specialising in innovative functional gummies and capsules, the team is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead their manufacturing operations and support their next phase of expansion. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, has strong people management skills, and understands GMP‑aligned manufacturing processes.

What will you be doing?
* Plan, direct, and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are consistently met.
* Develop and implement production plans, procedures, and systems to optimise productivity and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Lead, coach, and manage the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, quality, and safety.
* Oversee formulation development and ensure high-quality, efficient production of gummies and capsules.
* Ensure adherence to all workplace health and safety requirements, and compliance with GMP, FSANZ, HACCP, ISO 22,000 and other relevant regulations.
* Conduct internal audits, manage risk assessments, and support ongoing HACCP / GMP compliance.
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain inventory levels, manage materials, and support uninterrupted production.
* Track and report on manufacturing KPIs, identifying opportunities for process optimisation and cost efficiency.
What do you need?
* Previous Production Manager or Senior Production Supervisor experience (food, nutraceutical, FMCG, pharma, or similar).
* Strong understanding of GMP, FSANZ, HACCP, and quality-controlled manufacturing processes.
* Proven leadership skills with experience supervising production teams.
* Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to interpret production plans, technical documents, and SOPs.
* Experience working with formulation or blending processes (desirable).
