Wessel Petroleum is a locally owned and operated business employing a team of over 280 people throughout Queensland. The business operates 20 service stations and carwash sites with Head Office located in Bundaberg.
About the role
We are in an exciting phase of growth and are seeking a motivated new team member to join our amazing team. The Accounts Payable & Admin Specialist position is based onsite at our Head Office in Bundaberg. The role is a full time position 38 hours per week, with the business offering flexible work times to suit the successful candidate.
This role is well suited to a candidate who enjoy variety as it has a variety of tasks across different areas of the office. We anticipate this role to be 50% Accounts Payable and 50% Administration. As our Accounts Payable & Admin Specialist your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Reconciling supplier invoices to statements
* Data entry, invoice coding and supplier credit follow up
* Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly payment runs
* Liaising with store managers and administration team members
* Maintain accounts payable filing system
General administration assistant tasks within the Head Office Team include:
* Printing of food product labels
* Preparation of outgoing postage
* Email box administration
* Printing, collating and reconciling reports
* Database maintenance
* Assisting and supporting other team members
The successful applicant
Will be proficient with computer-based administration and will take pride in their work. Be an enthusiastic team player who has the ability to work effectively in autonomous circumstances. This role requires a candidate with a strong work ethic, exceptional attention to detail, superior communication, time management & organisational skills.
Experience in accounts would be of an advantage but not essential, training will be provided for the right candidate.
