Job Description
Position Objectives
To deliver counselling, skills training and education to individuals, couples and families to help improve and better manage relationships within the family and their broader supports and networks. This includes providing support to families experiencing or adjusting to separation, with a focus on strengthening communication, reducing conflict and promoting positive outcomes for children. Additionally, to provide community development and community education activities that raise awareness of family relationship issues, build capacity, and increase participation across the community.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications relevant to community welfare practice, i.e. Social Work, psychology, Social Science with at least 3 years' experience in counselling.
* Experience in community development initiatives.
* A current driver's licence and a willingness to travel and preparedness to be accommodated overnight when required.
