The Home and Location: The Ormsby is a large modern Residential Aged Care Home located in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.
About the Opportunity: As a Lifestyle Assistant you will provide and facilitate group and individual leisure and recreational activities.
- Assist with the design, delivery and monitoring of group and individual lifestyle services activities and complementary therapies for residents
- Coordinate engaging individual and group activities and therapies
- Ensure recreational activities, therapies and documentation comply with Aged Care Standards and relevant Acts, legal and ethical standards

Essential Requirements
- Min Cert 3 in Individual Support
- Previous experience in Aged Care
- An understanding of person-centred care
- CERT IV Leisure & Health highly regarded
Mandatory Compliance requirements if successful
- Willing to obtain a national police Check
- ID - Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence, Passport Working rights in Australia
- Current Flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
