Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team in Longwarry, in a full-time, permanent capacity. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering accurate sampling and testing of our products.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct chemical and bacteriological analyses on in-line samples, finished products, and raw materials.
* Communicate test results promptly and accurately to internal and external customers, both verbally and in writing.
* Deliver efficient and reliable testing services in accordance with approved laboratory methods.
* Maintain equipment calibration schedules and uphold housekeeping and safety standards consistently.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or similar is highly desirable.
* Previous experience in a laboratory/testing supporting a food manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
* Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
* A working knowledge of HACCP and OH&S is desirable but not essential.
