The Opportunity
You will manage operations across multiple sites located in the Southwest WA, while delivering exceptional service quality to customers and achieving operational and business performance targets.
Provide frontline leadership to a diverse team of ~70 employees across the Southwest portfolio.
Drive a culture of compliance and safety to ensure effective risk and compliance initiatives are established and promoted.
Evaluate and improve performance reviews, talent management and succession plans to maximise engagement and retention of employees.
Ensure the appropriate equipment is available to meet operational requirements.
Partner with the commercial finance team to deliver data integrity and process improvements for sustainable growth in market.
Your Role
* Manage a substantial local government waste services portfolio
* Monitor and manage activities of the Branch and be accountable for the overall operational and financial performance including Profit and Loss reporting, budget preparation, forecast reviews, financial performance and achieving agreed financial/operational targets
About You
You will likely have an operational leadership background with some exposure to waste management.
A strong track record of safety leadership and performance is essential.
Possess commercial grounding to analyse pricing, tenders, quotes etc.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of industrial relations.
Well developed experience with P&L management with a sound financial acumen.
Extensive experience in influencing/negotiating internally and externally.
