Frank's Deli is looking to hire a casual chef with part time hours for a position available at Frank's Deli. We have roughly 27-30 hours per week available. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
* Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years cooking experience.
* Valid Australian work authorization is required for this position.
* Essential sandwich/deli short order cooking experience required.
Franks Delicatessen is a family run sandwich deli opened in Waverley, in the eastern beaches. Opened by Ben Kelly, Sammy and Alek Jakubiak we are looking for like minded chefs of all skill sets and experience to join the team. We cook simple food with great ingredients. Its not fancy or complicated but it tastes great. Its a great sandwich menu and a variety of quality baked goods in the cabinet.
Service is very busy so chefs that can work fast and stay calm under pressure and have proven systems with short order cooking is essential. We have limited space so we need organized people to handle prep in between service.
Our team culture is our most important asset so only chefs with a great attitude to food and people need apply. No agro and no egos at Franks. We want people to come with ideas and enjoy their work.
The hours cant be beat, we open 6.30am to 3pm, and we are willing to pay above industry standard to get the right chefs in place for a busy summer.
For the role, we require the chef to work the following days:
Mon
Tue
Thur
Fri 9-4.30
The role includes service and prep. We are also looking to fill the role before January 20th.
