A great opportunity for an experienced Project Director to join this busy team for a long term 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role:
* Organising and leading project discussions and workshops with business areas and delivery partners.
* Utilising data, process mining and statistical tools to analyse operational performance and perform root cause analysis.
* Setting strategic direction and priorities for the portfolio area in line with Agency priorities and national/branch action plans.
* Developing and delivering optimisation initiatives to support service improvement and performance in line with strategic objectives.
* Ensuring all optimisation activities consider opportunities to enhance the experiences for participants, providers, partners and agency staff using an integrated approach.
* Preparing and managing a range of written material including business cases, Senate Estimatesubmissions, Ministerial and Agency briefs, and other corporate documentation.
About you:
* You will have strong written communication skills
* You will have strong Stakeholder management and negotiation skills with ability to manage MDT’s with people with conflicting opinions and viewpoints.
* You will have strong project management skills to support release prioritization work.
* You will have experience leading PMO, Transformation or large programs of work.
* You will have proven end to end portfolio delivery experience with strength in ownership of program reporting and schedule management.
* You will have formal project management certifications.
Benefits:
* ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance)
* 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension
* Full time hours Monday to Friday
* Geelong and Richmond locations + hybrid working from home options.
* $754.20 per day + Super
