Senior Payroll OfficerSouth Yarra, Melbourne VIC – Full-time – OnsiteAbout the RoleBe part of a growing team, drive payroll excellence, manage WorkCover claims, and grow with our expanding organisation.About YouMinimum 4 years' experience working in similar payroll roles, including end-to-end payroll for employees.Experience using Employment Hero (or similar) softwareStrong understanding of WorkCover processes and obligationsAbility to consistently meet regular deadlines and manage time effectivelyAttention to detail and accuracy in record keepingAbility to communicate proactively and work collaboratively with the Payroll Team, Accounts Team, and Centre staffAccounting experience desired, but not essentialResponsibilitiesProcessing payroll transactions efficiently on a fortnightly / monthly basis for a team of staff members, ensuring the accuracy of timesheets and leave applications.Managing WorkCover claims, including monitoring and reconciliation of payments to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.Generating weekly reports on centre hours for the director and operations manager.Conducting monthly and annual reconciliations of key payroll accounts, including superannuation, WorkCover, parental leave, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) requirements.Supporting the Payroll Team Leader in reviewing and overseeing payroll processing and end of month reconciliation and reporting.Why Aspire?
