Pak Pumps is a fast-growing, locally owned family business specialising in water pumps, irrigation and filtration systems. With established retail stores in Pakenham and Yarragon, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality and service.
We’re on a mission to rapidly scale our online store and compete nationally. We're looking for an Ecommerce Coordinator who thrives on challenges, takes ownership and wants to see their work have a direct impact on business growth.

Note -this is not a maintenance role. Prior water pump, irrigation and filtration systems knoweledge is not required. Agenices need not apply.
The Role
Ecommerce (primary focus)
- Manage and improve our Shopify store, product listings, SEO, images, and content
- Build custom pages/sections using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid (Shopify OS 2.0)
- Run digital campaigns via Google Shopping, social media ads and email marketing
- Create engaging content including product descriptions, blog posts, buying guides
- Track traffic, conversions and sales using Shopify/GA4, and recommend improvements
- Explore and prototype AI tools for customer experience (e.g. product selectors, chatbots, automation)
Retail (secondary support)
- Assist in-store customers and trade accounts as required
- Help with Click & Collect and order fulfilment
- Provide customer insights that improve online FAQs and product info
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related field (or relevant experience)
- Experience with Shopify or other online store platforms
- Strong front-end skills - HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience in SEO & Google Ads
- Experience in social media marketing and email campaigns
- Analytical mindset – comfortable using sales & traffic data
- Strong interest or exposure to AI tools – (e.g. OpenAI, Claude AI)
- Confident communicator who enjoys both online and in-store customer interaction
