About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic Medical Imaging team. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. You will work closely with radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centred care. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe and effective nursing care in a medical imaging environment
* Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional radiology
* Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
* Assist radiologists and imaging staff during procedures when required
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
* Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards
* Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
What we’re looking for
* Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse (AHPRA)
* Previous experience in acute care, perioperative, or medical imaging (desirable)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
* Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development
