About the Role:
This full-time category manager role focuses on managing the Driveline Lubricants category, primarily Automatic Transmission Fluids (ATFs) and Gear Oils for passenger and heavy-duty applications.
The successful candidate will lead product strategy, lifecycle management, pricing, and market execution to drive growth, competitiveness, and relevance in retail, trade, commercial, and export markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute category strategies aligned with overall business goals and market demand.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of products – from concept and development through to launch, performance tracking, rationalisation, and end-of-life.
* Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and risks.
* Set and review pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness while maintaining profitability.
* Identify gaps and lead the development of new products or enhancements in collaboration with R&D and Technical Teams.
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing to create compelling go-to-market plans, campaigns, and training resources.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure accurate demand forecasting and product availability across all channels.
* Ensure all products meet relevant regulatory standards and industry specifications.
* Train key stakeholders and the wider sales team in product technical specifications, features, and benefits and marketability aspects of each product within the category.
* Support the Technical team with product recommendations and product application within our digital infrastructure.
